Paste anything. We'll tell you what it is.

Drop in a stack trace, cron expression, JSON, SQL, a Kubernetes manifest or even a JWT. The doctor recognises it, shows an instant result, and opens the best tool with your text already inside.

Runs on your device, nothing is uploaded. Ctrl+Enter opens the best tool, Esc clears.

One box instead of thirty tabs

Developers spend a surprising amount of time working out which tool a snippet belongs in. This page removes that step. It scores your input against more than thirty formats in a few milliseconds, runs the matching deterministic checks, and shows a result card right here: the plain-English meaning and next run times of a cron expression, the root cause and fix for a stack trace, the claims and expiry of a JWT, the error position of broken JSON, or the statements and risks in a SQL script.

Everything is computed on your device with the same engines as the dedicated tools, so the answer is the same every time. When you want more, press Ctrl+Enter or click Open in and the full tool opens with your text already loaded.

Examples worth trying

  • A JWT from a failing request: the card shows the algorithm, who issued it, and whether it is expired, without verifying anything.
  • A stack trace from a log: the root cause is separated from framework noise and matched to the exception library with causes and fixes.
  • A Kubernetes manifest or application.yml: instantly graded by the rules in the matching config doctor.

Frequently asked questions

What can the paste-anything doctor recognise?

Cron expressions and crontabs, Java stack traces and exception messages, Java code, JSON, YAML, XML and CSV, SQL and CREATE TABLE statements, JWTs, cURL commands, Dockerfiles, Compose files, Kubernetes manifests, GitHub Actions workflows, Spring configuration, pom.xml and Gradle files, regular expressions, timestamps and dates, Base64, hex and URL-encoded text, IP addresses and CIDR blocks, versions and Maven coordinates, UUIDs, thread dumps, GC logs and heap histograms.

How does it decide what I pasted?

A set of fast pattern detectors scores your text for every format and shows the best match with a confidence, plus the other likely candidates. If it guesses wrong, click one of the "Also looks like" buttons.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Detection and every result card run in your browser. A JWT is decoded but its signature is never verified, so no key is needed or sent.

What does Open in do?

It hands your text to the dedicated tool, which opens already filled in and running, so you never copy and paste twice.

Why not just ask an AI?

These results are instant, identical every time and never invent syntax. For cron, regex, SQL, JSON and configuration, a deterministic checker beats a model that may confidently guess.
